Give these a whirl (and post them on Reels & Shorts too)

→ “Recreating memes” Trend: Friend groups are putting out videos like this, where each of them is asked to recreate/act-out an iconic meme. It’s not only hilarious, and kind of hits that office humor vibe, but it also provides the opportunity for the person doing the impression to become a meme themselves. Think: it’s the remix, but meme edition. If your principal is someone with a sense of humor, that would get a kick out of becoming a meme, and thus getting more brand awareness or breaking through in that way, this trend would be a solid one to try. This could also be used with a caucus of characters or thought leaders.

→ “I’m having a white wine” Trend: This super catchy mini audio clip that hinges on the core plot of “having a white wine,” has become a goofy little trend amongst the gals with videos like this. That said, the audio, and its fun, light-hearted nature, could be used by California politicos, or those in other states that are home to grape growers, to highlight touring a vineyard in the zipcode(s) they represent, and of course sampling the white wine.

→ “Do you wear wigs” Trend: This old interview audio often gets used by groups of friends hosting funky wig or costume-themed parties, where the wigs are the main event. The content often looks like this, and is silly goose level fun. When it comes to a possible political application – trust, there's one–if the principal you’re putting concepts together has or had a career in the performance arts, cutting b-roll of them performing [wigs on of course] to this audio would be relatable perfection. If b-roll isn’t available, a carousel of images of them on stage, in costume, and in action works well too.

→ “Yellow font” Trend: Somewhere amongst the online universe, someone decided that when the text on screen is yellow, it translates to sharing either something from vulnerable, a hard to hear truth, or POV that feels like it came from someone’s diary. Alas, the opportunity is posting…

  • …a video of b-roll of the principal creator with a vulnerable take on it in yellow font

  • …a carousel feat a vulnerable take on each slide

The key with this trend is that creators also have to write “yellow font” on the video or carousel. It’s giving 2026 Morse code. Alas, for the audio, use this bad boy.

→ “Me without…” Trend: This trend has creators showing what their vibe/mood is before getting their coffee/latte/matcha, etc versus what their vibe/mood once it’s in their hands, like so. The trend can be made political, by swapping out a coffee for a political achievement – most likely in this environment, that means a law passed at the state level, a rule initiated, a grant sent out, etc. With that, the text formula would look like:

  • Part 1: “me without XYZ bill passed”

  • Part 2: “me with XYZ bill signed into law”

Unfortunately, the audio for this trend is this one [do with that what you may]. But, on the bright side, it has the potential to get political info over to a non-political audience.

Creative content concepts to try and post on TikTok too

→ “What’s in my bag” Trend: This trend isn’t the one you’re thinking of – seriously, see the example here, and you’re going to be like “oh, she’s right” Anyways, this is a fun and creative way of putting eyes on a big moment captured on video that means a lot to the principal creator and/or the goal of the account. For example, if this were posted on Nancy Pelosi’s page, it might be the video of her ripping up the SOTU speech. All that’s needed is a bag and the clip playing on repeat in said bag captured on camera.

→ “They told me women belonged in the kitchen” Trend: This trend crossed the GATG desk with this post by a mayor – so you know it’s got political roots. The trend starts with the hook “they told me women belonged in the kitchen” written over video of the principal, and is then followed by a montage of clips of them “cooking.” Which if you’re not up on the lingo, saying someone “cooked” is equivalent to saying someone nailed it, knocked it out of the park, blew it out of the water, etc. Anyway, the trend is a great one to use in pushing back on the trad wife of it all, while using their lingo/key words to break through.

→ “Me using my political science degree” Trend: This trend has those working in politics that majored in political science, gov etc, showing off in a visual way how they’re putting that degree to work. The trend uses b-roll of the principal and is layered with the text, “me using my political science degree.” Of course, text and edit can be evolved to match an account’s style.

→ “Click clack symphony” Trend: TBH, there’s no better sound than the click clack of a heel with a good outfit, and that sound and concept comes front and center in this trend. The trend has creators sharing a click clack catwalk from an above pov paired with the audio “click clack symphony.” This could be made political in nature by adding a name mention on screen for each participant [think small font below each shoe], with each participant being either an elected, candidate, or known thought leader [known by name]. Naturally, the participants should be friends or friendly enough that a video of them unified like so is thought of as a “W.”
