TIKTOK CONTENT TRENDS
Give these a whirl
“LIBBED OUT SO HARD” TREND: This trend has creators making “being Liberal” a verb and applying it to how they thought the election was going to go. They’re essentially conveying that they thought the Dems had it in the back because of – not politics – but basic human decency, and are pairing those two concepts in a post like this. The trend can be replicated with an image post or a video post using this audio.
“MONTHLY RECAP” CAROUSEL: Recaps are nothing new, but as seen with this example post, there’s always a way to freshen the concept up. This refresh is positioned as “a period of time” + “as told by my camera roll” and highlights points of interest to the audience. Pull 4-7 images and use this audio to make it happen.
“REPEAT AFTER ME” AUDIO: This audio from this video, which goes “Repeat after me being found liable for sexual assault wasn’t enough for you” works for creating a video highlighting a group or an individual that voted for/supported Trump despite being found liable for sexual assault. Because the audio doesn’t refer to a specific candidate or elected official, and because we’ll likely unfortunately have other people to apply this concept to, keep the audio saved for another use down the line as well.
“YOU KNOW WHAT, HELL YEA” AUDIO: Use this audio to share political news that you support. For a little bit of inspo this creator nails the execution by sharing their thoughts on Biden pardoning his son. The attitude for the video is a bit of “let me think about it for a second” mixed “that actually makes a lot of sense.”
“WOMAN” AUDIO: This Harry Styles audio can be used to put a lens or spotlight on a woman doing something epic/badass/sensationally good in their political job. This would be effective over b-reel of them walking to a podium, talking to the press, exiting/entering a political building, etc. Text should also be used to elaborate on whatever “positive” is happening.
CAPCUT TEMPlATES
Give ‘em a whirl
Use this template to point out that you see the insane comments that people leave on your content.
Use this template to highlight the tally of costs as a result of a decision or policy.
Use this template to share what voters will regret as a result of their choices.
Use this template to share something you have to do because of rules that you don’t want to do OR apply it to someone else in politics.

INSTAGRAM TRENDS
Creative content concepts to try
“CYBER TRUCK RUINING MY DAY” AUDIO: If your eyeballs come into contact with a Cybertruck, we’re so very sorry. This audio plays on that tragedy of how a sighting can truly ruin your day. Next time you come across a Cybertruck in your midst, draft a Reel with this audio.
“COFFEE AND WHAT I’M READING” AUDIO: Use this audio to create a Reel sharing your favorite coffee order and what you’re reading. This is an easy way to showcase a local business and either a book you wrote yourself or another political book of interest people should read.
“THE CREWS BACK TOGETHER” AUDIO: This audio is being used to highlight a “crew” that’s reunited, except the crew is only two people or a VERY small group. This concept can be applied to state reps or other local officials who are vastly in the minority, reuniting for a new sesh or meetings. For format, take this inspo and make it as wildin’ out or not.
“JUST A REMINDER, YOU ARE…” TREND: This audio is being used to create videos that remind viewers that they are a particular positive trait – ex: “awesome” “worth it.” Use the audio to do exactly that, just add a splash of politics or regional relatability.
