TIKTOK CONTENT TRENDS
Give these a whirl (and post them on Reels & Shorts too)
“SHOULD A MAN BE ABLE TO HAVE A PODCAST” AUDIO: Julia Louis-Dreyfus shared her thoughts with Vanity Fair on whether or not men should have podcasts or not. The result? An audio that you can use to share your aligned thoughts – p.s. the answer is no, so if you’re working for a man in politics that either has a podcast or is launching one, this isn’t audio for your team. The resulting video can simply be to further that narrative and your agreement with men having mics being detrimental OR be used to also highlight a related headline – ex: “podcaster hosts neo-nazi on latest episode.” Regardless of the route you pick, this is a lipsyncing trend.
“HOPE NO ONE HEARD THAT” AUDIO: This Drake audio illustrates a situation where you hope no one over heard you because if they did, you’ll be in trouble for it. TBH, it makes us think of Signalgate and all of its related scandals. With that in mind, you could use the audio in parody sense with two or more people like this, and adding text to the video with something like “POV: Waltz and Hegseth hoping no one finds out about their Signal chat.” It can also be used to illustrate an “oops” at work or a situation where you and a pal are gossiping about political tea going on.
“THE LINKEDIN” TREND: This trend has people making videos like this, with a mini intro on themselves, what they do for work, and how to find them on LinkedIn. The goal is two-fold, making work connections on TikTok and moving people to your LinkedIn to put eggs in non-TikTok baskets. To make the trend happen, grab a video like this, add a mini intro via text on video, and then use this sound with it. P.S. you could also add an email or direct someone to your link in bio in your caption.

Creative content concepts to try
“CLOWN CAR” AUDIO: This isn’t the first time the infamous ‘clown car’ audio has made its rounds. But it is back with this trend, the trend where creators are filming themselves to the audio reacting to something heinous, and then adding to the video via text, what it is [the situation] that they’re perturbed by. In its easiest use case, think of something that someone in politics said to you that they think is a flex but is actually a red flag, and make a video featuring it like so.
“FIT CHECK” AUDIO: This audio is great for a fitcheck or showcasing a series of outfits that you’ve worn. Think of it as a possible audio to use when highlighting outfits with some sort of symbolic/political meaning. To make it happen, stitch your desired clips together and use this audio.
“WHAT IT’S LIKE…” TREND: This creator, with this Reel, showcased what it’s like oftentimes speaking to the other side of the aisle/MAGA currently. And while this would not be a trend to do as a candidate or elected, it would be for a distinctly Dem/progressive org that is aiming to shine a light on a political happening that should engender empathy but has MAGA’s panty’s in a twist.
